
Apple Cupcakes
This recipe is for apple cupcakes: beat the eggs with the sugar, then add the oil, milk, and yogurt. Next, add the dry ingredients—flour, baking powder, vanilla, and cinnamon—then add the baking soda with the vinegar at the end. Divide the batter among cupcake molds, filling them three-quarters full, place apple pieces on top, then bake in a preheated oven for about 25 minutes until golden. Ingredients
- 2 cups (270 g) Flour
- 3 Eggs
- 120 g or three-quarters of a cup Sugar
- one-quarter cup (40 ml) Oil
- one-quarter cup (50 ml) Milk
- three-quarters of a cup (125 ml) Yogurt
- 1 tablespoon Baking powder
- 1 tablespoon Vanilla
- one-quarter teaspoon Baking soda
- 1 tablespoon Vinegar
- one-half teaspoon Cinnamon
- 2 Apples
- for decoration Powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is smooth.
- In the same bowl, add the oil and mix it into the liquid mixture.
- In the same bowl, add the milk, then the yogurt, and mix them together.
- In another bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry-ingredient mixture to the liquid mixture and beat until smooth.
- Finally, add the baking soda with the vinegar to the bowl and stir the mixture.
- Prepare a cupcake tray and arrange paper cups in it.
- Pour the batter into the cupcake cups, filling them three-quarters full.
- Add chopped apple on top of each cupcake in the tray.
- Place the cupcake tray in the oven on the bottom rack or the rack just above the bottom.
- Reduce the oven temperature to 180°C when placing the tray in the oven.
- Bake the cupcakes for about 25 minutes, until golden.
- Remove the cupcake tray from the oven and leave it to cool.
- Sprinkle powdered sugar over the top for decoration.
