
Condensed Milk
This is homemade sweetened condensed milk made with hot water, powdered milk, fine sugar, liquid vanilla, starch, butter, and a pinch of salt. The ingredients are mixed in a saucepan over medium heat for about 2 minutes until the mixture thickens, then left to cool and stored in the refrigerator.
Sweetened condensed milk made at home.
Like a thick sweet milk syrup used in desserts.
Cook the milk slowly until it becomes thick and sweet.
Ingredients
- half a cup Hot water
- 1 cup (120 g) Powdered milk
- 1 cup Fine sugar
- 2 tablespoons Liquid vanilla
- 1 tablespoon Starch
- 2 tablespoons (30 g) Butter
- mentioned without a quantity Salt
Instructions
- Place the hot water in the saucepan.
- Add the powdered milk to the saucepan.
- Add the sugar to the saucepan.
- Add the starch to the saucepan.
- Add the vanilla to the saucepan.
- Add the butter to the saucepan.
- Add a pinch of salt to the saucepan.
- Stir the ingredients in the saucepan over medium heat for about 2 minutes, until the mixture thickens.
- Leave the condensed milk in the saucepan until it cools.
- Place the condensed milk in the refrigerator until it is colder and better for serving.
