
Oven-Baked Chicken with Potatoes
A main dish of seasoned chicken and potatoes cooked in the oven.
A baked main dish with chicken and potatoes seasoned and cooked in the oven.
Like a simple roasted chicken and potato tray bake.
Cut the potatoes evenly so everything cooks at the same time.
Ingredients
- 2 kg chicken
- 2 kg potatoes
- 2 tomatoes
- 2 red bell peppers
- 1 carrot
- 1 onion
- 1 head of garlic
- 1/2 half a lemon with its peel
- 2 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- tsp paprika
- tsp ginger
- tsp turmeric
- 2 tsp dried coriander
- 1 1/2 cups water or ice
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 tsp oregano or rosemary

- 1 egg to prepare garlic cream egg
- 2 tablespoons to prepare garlic cream starch
- 5 cloves to prepare garlic cream garlic
- 300 ml to prepare garlic cream oil

Instructions
- Wash and clean the chicken thoroughly in the kitchen before anything else.
- Make slits in the chicken with a knife in the kitchen if you will cook it immediately after marinating.
- Soak the chicken in a bowl with water, salt, and white vinegar for 15 minutes in the kitchen while you prepare the vegetables.
- Place the tomatoes, red bell peppers, carrot, onion, head of garlic, and half a lemon with its peel in a blender bowl.
- Add the salt, cinnamon, paprika, ginger, turmeric, dried coriander, and oregano or rosemary to the blender.
- Add 1 1/2 cups of water or ice to the blender.
- Add 1/2 cup of olive oil to the blender.
- Blend the marinade well in the blender until smooth.
- Cut the potatoes into large pieces in the kitchen.
- Line the baking tray with parchment paper.
- Arrange the potatoes in the tray.
- Place the chicken on top of the potatoes in the tray.
- Pour the marinade over the chicken and potatoes in the tray.
- Rub the chicken and marinade together with your hands in the tray until well distributed.
- Cover the tray with parchment paper, then seal it tightly with aluminum foil.
- Put the tray in the oven at the highest heat, with top and bottom heat and the fan on, at the beginning.
- Reduce the oven temperature to 200 after putting the tray in the oven.
- Leave the tray in the oven for 1 hour.
- Uncover the tray after 1 hour and check that the potatoes and chicken are cooked in the oven.
- Brown the top of the chicken and potatoes in the oven using top heat only after checking.
- Serve the dish hot with garlic cream, pickles, and Aleppo chili sauce, if desired.
