Pan Pizza Without Oven or Yeast

Pan Pizza Without Oven or Yeast

This is a pan pizza recipe made without an oven or yeast. A dough is prepared with flour, yogurt, salt, sugar, baking powder, and oil. A sauce is then made from tomatoes, sweet red pepper, garlic, onion, salt, white pepper, oregano, and olive oil, and cooked over low heat until thickened. The dough is spread in a greased pan and cooked over low heat, turning it over, then topped with the sauce, kashkaval cheese, and other toppings such as mixed-color bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, and spicy sausage. Cover until the cheese melts. It serves approximately two people.

A pizza cooked in a pan instead of an oven, made without yeast.

Like skillet pizza or stovetop pizza.

Cook the base gently so it browns without burning before the toppings heat through.
