
Sanouniyeh
A traditional dish known as Sanouniyeh, usually prepared in a large quantity.

Ingredients
- 1 kg wheat
- enough to cover water
- 4 liters milk
- half a liter cream
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 250 g honey
- raisins
- walnuts
- almonds
- Aleppo pistachios
- coconut
Instructions
- Soak the wheat in a pot or bowl in enough water to cover, until softened.
- Boil the soaked wheat in the pot, then leave it for a quarter of an hour after boiling.
- Add the milk to the pot with the cornstarch during preparation, using 1 tablespoon of cornstarch for each liter of milk.
- Add the cream to the pot with the rest of the mixture during the cooking stage.
- Sweeten the mixture in the pot with honey to taste; the quantity stated in the description is 250 g.
- Pour the mixture into serving dishes once it is ready.
- Garnish the tops in the serving dishes with raisins, walnuts, almonds, Aleppo pistachios, and coconut.
