
Prophetic Talbeenah
A traditional talbeenah porridge made with barley or barley flour.

Like a warm barley porridge or thin breakfast porridge.
Cook slowly until the mixture turns smooth and creamy.
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons barley flour
- 500 ml milk
- honey
- nuts, for garnish
- cinnamon
- dates, for garnish
- a little black seed
- half water
- date molasses
Instructions
- Put 500 ml milk and 4 tablespoons barley flour in a saucepan, then mix them together while cold before turning on the heat.
- Stir the milk and barley flour mixture in the saucepan until the flour has completely dissolved in the milk.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat, then continue stirring the mixture in the saucepan constantly until it thickens.
- Sweeten the talbeenah in the saucepan with honey once it is ready.
- Pour the talbeenah into a serving dish, then garnish the serving dish with nuts and pieces of dates.
- Sprinkle cinnamon over the top of the serving dish, then drizzle a little honey over the top.
