
Biscuit and Chocolate Lazy Cake
This recipe is a chilled lazy cake made with biscuits and chocolate. Melt the butter over medium heat, then add the cocoa, Nutella, hazelnuts, milk, condensed milk, and crushed biscuits. Pack the mixture into a lined mold, freeze for five hours, then slice and serve cold.
This is a no-bake dessert made with biscuits and chocolate.
Like a simple refrigerator cake.
It is usually assembled quickly and chilled until firm.
Ingredients
- 100 g or 1/2 cup Butter
- 40 g or 3 tablespoons Cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons Nutella chocolate spread
- 250 g or 1 cup Condensed milk [Nestlé]
- 200 g Biscuits
- 100 g or 1/2 cup Hazelnuts
- 1/4 cup Milk
Instructions
- In a bowl, break the biscuits into small pieces.
- In another bowl or using a food processor, grind the hazelnuts until coarsely ground.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- In the same saucepan, add the cocoa powder once the butter has melted and stir.
- In the same saucepan, add the Nutella and stir.
- In the same saucepan, add the hazelnuts and stir.
- In the same saucepan, add the milk and stir.
- In the same saucepan, add the condensed milk and stir.
- In the same saucepan, add the crushed biscuits and stir until the mixture is combined.
- Place the mixture in a mold or container lined with a plastic bag or with plastic wrap/foil, and begin pressing it down well.
- In the same mold, press the mixture with the base of a glass or any suitable tool until it forms a firm cylindrical shape.
- Cover the mold, then place it in the freezer for five hours.
- After freezing, remove it from the freezer and cut it into slices to serve.
