
Chocolate Honeycomb Bread
This is a chocolate honeycomb bread recipe made with a quick dough of water, milk, yeast, sugar, yogurt, cocoa, oil, baking powder, salt, flour, and vanilla. It is filled with dark chocolate, baked in the oven in two stages, and decorated with sweetened condensed milk after baking.
A soft filled bread or pastry shaped like honeycomb and flavored with chocolate.
Like pull-apart sweet rolls.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Warm water
- 1 cup Milk
- half a block, 20 grams Fresh yeast
- 3 tablespoons Sugar
- 3 tablespoons Yogurt
- 3 tablespoons Unsweetened cocoa powder
- half a cup Vegetable oil
- 1 packet, 10 grams Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 8 cups Flour
- a little Liquid vanilla
- Dark chocolate
- Butter
- Sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- Dissolve the sugar and yeast together in a bowl.
- Add the warm water and warm milk to the bowl.
- Add the yogurt, unsweetened cocoa powder, vegetable oil, baking powder, salt, and liquid vanilla to the bowl.
- Gradually add the flour to the bowl until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough in the bowl until it is smooth and no longer sticky.
- Divide the dough and shape it into balls.
- Fill each ball with dark chocolate, then seal it well.
- Grease a baking tray or pan with butter.
- Arrange the dough balls close together in the tray or pan in a honeycomb pattern.
- Set the oven to 100 degrees, using bottom heat.
- Bake the dough in the oven for 15 minutes.
- Raise the oven temperature to 160 degrees.
- Bake the dough in the oven for an additional 15 minutes.
- Decorate the honeycomb bread with sweetened condensed milk after removing it from the oven.
