Ingredients

  • 1 kilogram (10 cups, each cup measures 100 grams) rice flour
  • 1 kilogram (10 cups, each cup measures 100 grams) ground caraway
  • 10 liters water
  • 1 kilogram sugar
  • for garnish coconut
  • for garnish raisins
  • for garnish walnuts
  • for garnish almonds
  • for garnish Aleppo pistachios
  • for garnish cashews

Instructions

  1. In a pot over the heat, mix the rice flour with the ground caraway, sifting them first if necessary.
  2. In the same pot, add the water and stir the mixture well before placing it over the heat.
  3. Over the heat, warm the mixture, stirring continuously, until it thickens; take care not to let it boil vigorously.
  4. In the pot, gradually add the sugar to taste, continuing to stir.
  5. In the pot or when serving, garnish the drink with coconut, raisins, walnuts, almonds, Aleppo pistachios, and cashews, according to what is available.
  6. Serve the drink hot.
