Chicken Burger

This is a chicken burger in the style of a Crazy Chicken Burger: chicken breasts are marinated in milk and vinegar with a range of spices, then coated in flour, egg, and breadcrumbs and fried in oil until crisp. Fried cheese fingers, cheesy sauce, and cocktail sauce are then prepared, and the burger is assembled in a bun with the sauces and cheese and served hot.

  • Flour

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts on the work surface in a suitable bag or bowl.
  2. Add the milk to the bag over the chicken.
  3. Add the vinegar to the bag over the milk.
  4. In a bowl, mix the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, oregano, ginger, turmeric, curry, cardamom, and white pepper.
  5. Add half of the spice mixture to the bag over the chicken.
  6. Seal the bag tightly by hand or on the work surface.
  7. Shake the bag vigorously between your hands so the marinade penetrates the chicken inside the bag.
  8. Place the bag in the refrigerator for half an hour.
  9. Cut the mozzarella or kashkaval cheese sticks into suitably sized lengths on a cutting board.
  10. Prepare three bowls on the table: one with flour, one with eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.
  11. Add a pinch of white pepper to the eggs in the bowl.
  12. Add a drop of vinegar to the eggs in the bowl.
  13. Mix the mayonnaise with cream cheese in the sauce bowl until it becomes cheesy sauce.
  14. In another bowl, mix the mayonnaise with ketchup, sriracha, honey, pickles, and buttered toasted bread until it becomes cocktail sauce.
  15. Add the remaining spices to the flour in the bowl.
  16. Mix the water with two tablespoons of flour in a bowl of water.
  17. Take a piece of cheese and dip it in the flour in the dry bowl.
  18. Lower the cheese piece into the egg in the wet bowl.
  19. Return the cheese piece to the flour in the dry bowl and coat it well.
  20. Press the coating layer by hand to secure it onto the cheese.
  21. Place the coated cheese pieces on a flour-dusted tray, or transfer them directly to the oil in the frying pan.
  22. Heat the oil in the frying pan to 185°C.
  23. Place four chicken pieces into the oil in the frying pan.
  24. Lower the oil temperature in the frying pan to 175–170°C after adding the pieces.
  25. Fry the chicken pieces in the frying pan for six minutes, until cooked through and crisp.
  26. Place Cheddar cheese over the hot chicken pieces in the frying pan or on the tray after frying so that it melts.
  27. Lower the cheese sticks into the oil in the frying pan.
  28. Open the hamburger buns on the serving surface.
  29. Spread the cheesy sauce on the buns.
  30. Place the cheese sticks over the buns.
  31. Place cocktail sauce over the cheese sticks in the hamburger buns.
  32. Add barbecue sauce to the sandwich in the hamburger bun.
  33. Serve the burger hot on a serving plate.
