
Chicken Caesar Salad
A cold chicken and lettuce salad with toasted bread and Parmesan cheese, dressed in a creamy garlic dressing.

Use cooked chicken and serve it chilled. The toasted bread cubes add crunch, and the Parmesan gives a salty finish.
Ingredients
- half a kilo chicken breasts
- toast bread toast bread
- as desired lettuce
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup olive oil
- half a cup lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons vinegar
- 8 cloves garlic cloves
- 200 grams Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon oregano [wild thyme]
- half a teaspoon curry
- half a teaspoon white pepper
- half a teaspoon black pepper
- half a tablespoon salt
Instructions
- Wash the chicken breasts in the preparation bowl, then prepare them for marinating as indicated by the chef's context.
- Season the chicken in the mixing bowl with salt, black pepper, white pepper, curry, oregano, garlic, lemon juice, vinegar, and olive oil.
- Cook the chicken in a frying pan over the heat until cooked through, then set aside to cool.
- Toast the bread in the oven or in a frying pan until golden, then set aside.
- Mix the mayonnaise in a bowl with olive oil, lemon juice, vinegar, garlic, Parmesan, oregano, curry, white pepper, black pepper, and salt to prepare the dressing.
- Chop the lettuce in the serving bowl, then add the cooked chicken and toasted bread on top.
- Pour the dressing over the salad in the serving bowl, then toss the ingredients well and serve cold.
