Date Balls

Date Balls

These are date balls with tahini and nuts, made by kneading 1 kilo of date paste with 3 tablespoons of animal ghee and 1 cup of sesame tahini, with cinnamon and cardamom optional. They are then shaped into balls and coated with sesame seeds or crushed Aleppo pistachios, and can be chilled and served as an Eid treat without an oven.
