
Easy Pancakes
This is an easy, quick pancake recipe made with flour, milk, eggs, oil, sugar, vanilla, and baking powder, with a pinch of cinnamon and salt. The liquids are mixed first, then the flour and baking powder are added gradually, and the batter is cooked in a Tefal nonstick pan over medium heat. Serve hot, decorated with chocolate; honey, fruit, or powdered sugar can be added as desired.

This is a familiar starter recipe and should be easy for most home cooks. The batter includes eggs and milk, so it is not vegan.
Ingredients
- 250 g (1½ cups) Flour
- ½ cup Vegetable oil
- 250 ml (1¼ cups) Milk
- 3 tablespoons Sugar
- a pinch Cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon Vanilla
- 1 tablespoon Baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- 2 Eggs
- as needed Chocolate for decoration

- a little Powdered sugar
- a little Jemaliya
- to make a bain-marie for melting the chocolate Water
- for melting the chocolate over steam when a melting machine is unavailable Butter
Instructions
- In a bowl, melt the chocolate for decoration using a chocolate-melting machine, or over a pot of boiling water as a bain-marie with butter if a melting machine is unavailable.
- Place the 2 eggs, at room temperature, in a bowl.
- Add ½ cup vegetable oil and 250 ml milk to the same bowl.
- Add 3 tablespoons sugar, 1 tablespoon vanilla, and ¼ teaspoon salt to the same bowl, then mix with a hand whisk until the sugar dissolves.
- In another bowl, sift the flour gradually with the baking powder, then add it to the liquid mixture and whisk until any lumps disappear.
- Add a pinch of cinnamon to the same bowl and mix it into the batter.
- Heat a Tefal nonstick pan over medium heat.
- Pour an amount of batter in the desired size into the pan. Leave it until the underside turns golden, then flip it to cook the other side.
- Place the cooked pancakes on a serving plate and decorate with the melted chocolate.
