
Genoise Cake with Sugar Dough
A light sponge cake covered or decorated with sugar dough.

- 7 large eggs Eggs
- 300 g (2 cups) Sugar
- 5 g Liquid vanilla
- 340 g (3 cups) Flour
- a little Red food coloring
- 20 g (2 sachets) Baking powder
- for filling Cream

- 300 g Marshmallows
- 50 g Butter
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Water

- 3/4 cup Cornstarch

Instructions
- In the mixing bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla until the mixture is suitable for Genoise cake.
- In another bowl, sift the flour with the baking powder before adding it to the egg mixture.
- In the mixing bowl, add the red food coloring to the mixture, or leave the mixture its natural color, or replace it with cocoa as mentioned in the explanation.
- In the mixing bowl, stir the mixture slowly and gently so that the air is not knocked out of the beaten eggs.
- In the baking pan, pour in the mixture and spread it as evenly as possible.
