Swedish Meatballs
Swedish-style meatballs, usually served with sauce.
These are Swedish-style meatballs, usually served with sauce.
Like small seasoned meatballs in a creamy gravy.
Ingredients
- 1 kilo finely ground meat, 25% fat
- 1 kilo boiled potatoes
- as desired mixed vegetables
- 1 cup breadcrumbs/fine crushed kaak
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk for the meat
- 1 cup milk for the potatoes
- 1/2 cup cooking cream for the sauce
- 150 g or 3/4 cup butter
- 1 cup flour
- preferable instead of flour fine wheat semolina
- 2 medium onions onions
- 1/2 teaspoon mixed spices
- to taste salt
- 3 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
