
All-Purpose Dough

This is a foundation recipe for breads, pastries, or stuffed items.
Ingredients
- 1 kilogram (7.5 cups) flour
- 1 cup (200 ml) milk
- 1 cup (200 ml) water
- 1 cup (200 ml) oil
- 2 eggs
- 50 grams sugar
- 1½ tablespoons yeast
- a pinch salt
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- In the mixing bowl, add the cup of warm water.
- In the mixing bowl, add the cup of milk to the water.
- In the mixing bowl, add the sugar to the water and milk.
- In the mixing bowl, whisk the ingredients briefly until the sugar dissolves.
- In the mixing bowl, add the yeast to the water, milk, and sugar mixture.
- In the mixing bowl, leave the yeast to activate for 5 minutes.
- In the mixing bowl, add the cup of oil.
- In the mixing bowl, add the eggs.
- In the mixing bowl, add the flour.
- In the mixing bowl, add the salt at the end, after the flour.
- In the mixing bowl, knead until the dough comes together.
- In the mixing bowl, add the butter as the final step and let the dough absorb it until smooth.
- In the mixing bowl, let the dough rest for 10 minutes before using.
- In the mixing bowl, the dough can be rolled out and cut, then frozen with parchment paper between the pieces.
