Chicken Sandwich

Chicken Sandwich

This is a quick tantuni-style chicken sandwich: chicken breast is cut into very thin strips and cooked in a pan with a cinnamon stick, lemon peel, and a drop of white vinegar until its liquid dries up; a little water may be added if needed. Lavash bread is then prepared with tomato, onion, parsley, pickled peppers, and a sprinkle of sumac, with mayonnaise added if desired. The recipe is quick and suitable as a hot homemade sandwich.
