
Crispy Chicken Pieces
Chicken pieces coated in breadcrumbs and fried until golden and crispy.
Breaded or coated chicken pieces fried until crisp.
Like nuggets or fried chicken bites.
Best served hot with a dipping sauce or side dish.
Ingredients
- 1.5 kg Chicken fillet
- 1.5 cups Breadcrumbs
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons Flour
- 1/2 cup Yogurt
- 1 tablespoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Ground cardamom
- 1 tablespoon Garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Onion powder
- 1 tablespoon Paprika
- 1 tablespoon Curry powder
- 1 tablespoon White pepper
- 1 tablespoon Oregano
- 1 finjan White vinegar
- to taste Hot chili sauce
- 1/2 cup Cold water
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the salt with the ground cardamom, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, curry powder, white pepper, oregano, and hot chili sauce.
- In another bowl, mix 1/2 cup vegetable oil with 1/2 cup yogurt, 1/2 cup cold water, and 1 finjan white vinegar.
- In the same bowl, add 2 tablespoons flour and 2 eggs, and mix until the marinade is well combined.
- Add the chicken fillet pieces to the marinade and turn until well coated.
- Place the marinated chicken pieces in a suitable bag or container, then put them in the freezer until frozen.
- Remove the chicken pieces from the freezer, then cut them into pieces as desired if necessary.
- Press the chicken pieces to make them an even thickness, then return them to the freezer until frozen.
- In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with the remaining spices from the marinade.
- In the marinade bowl, prepare the final egg-containing mixture for dipping before coating.
- Dip the chicken pieces in the egg marinade mixture, then coat them with breadcrumbs.
- In a deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over the heat.
- Fry the chicken pieces in the pan until golden and crispy.
- Remove the chicken pieces from the pan and serve hot.
