Cultured Milk Drink
A cold milk drink made by boiling 1 liter of water with powdered milk, then leaving it to cool to about 40 degrees. Five spoonfuls of yogurt or yoghurt are then added, and the mixture is covered and left to culture for seven to eight hours. It is then chilled in the refrigerator for several hours until smooth and set.
A cold, yogurt-based drink made with water and powdered milk for a light, creamy flavor.
Like a simple homemade yogurt drink.
Mix until completely smooth so the powdered milk dissolves well. Serve it well chilled for the best taste and texture.

Instructions
- In a pot, mix the water and powdered milk well over heat slightly above medium, stirring continuously until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Turn off the heat under the pot, and continue stirring briefly if the pot retains heat so that the milk does not scorch on the bottom.
- Leave the milk mixture in the pot until it cools to approximately 40 degrees; you can test this with your finger if you can tolerate it for about 10 seconds.
- Place the yogurt or yoghurt in a small bowl, then add a little of the milk mixture and stir until it becomes liquid.
- Add the diluted yogurt mixture to the pot containing the cooled milk, then stir gently until everything is combined.
- Pour the mixture into a suitable bowl, bucket, or pot, then cover it tightly.
- Wrap the container in a blanket or cover, and leave it in a place where no one will disturb it for seven to eight hours, until it cultures.
- Once culturing is complete, place the yogurt in the refrigerator for three to six hours or longer, until chilled and more firmly set.
- Remove the yogurt from the refrigerator and serve cold.
